So, I REALLY need a job... PLEASE HELP!!!?
I am 17 and live in Salt Lake City and I need a job! I just don't know where to work though! I've already worked at a frozen yogurt place and Paradise Bakery and Cafe but I had to quit them due to school issues. But I am really hurting for money and I need to get a new job! I don't want to work in the food industry anymore because I hated it! Some of my interests are animals and the outdoors, but I have no idea where I could get a job involving those. It doesn't have to be in those areas, but I just need some good ideas on where I can find a really good job! Thanks!
What about as a hiking/skiing guide? Or at a pet groomers? Maybe retail? At a clothing store, or a store that specializes in outdoor adventures or outdoor equipment rental? There's got to be farms and ranches out there, what about seeing if you can work on one of those after school? There's always babysitting, dog walking, being a newspaper delivery girl. Do you know a vet who would hire you to answer phones after school? A friend of mine worked part time for a company who took phone messages for businesses after hours. You know, like you call a place of business after they close for the day and instead of an answering machine you get a real live person who takes your message. They don't make any other decisions, except maybe call the "on-call" maintenance guy at apartments. She liked that she could start at 5:30 or 6:00 and work until 11:00 or 11:30.
There's all kinds of part time jobs that don't deal with food.
