Which book is the superior spin-off from Gone with the Wind?
There are currently 3 GWTW spin-off books: Scarlett, The Wind Done Gone, and Rhett Butler's People. After reading a synopsis for The Wind Done Gone, it seem absolutely ridiculous; Scarlett has a bi-racial half-sister by Gerald and Mammy! Then theres Scarlett which I always thought was the definitive, authorized sequel. Then I heard of Rhett Butler's People which is a apparently another authorized sequel/spin-off, but it alters how Scarlett and Rhett get back together after the "My dear, I don't give a damn" speech. So I'm curious as to which one of theses books is the superior sequel and which one would be the best to truly follow up GWTW? Honestly, I think GWTW has no definitive sequel. Margaret Mitchell never wrote one and never intended to so truly the story ends with GWTW's ending. But none the less, I would like some feed back from some ppl that know what I'm talking about... or better yet know what they are talking about! Thanks Guys!
None of them are any good. Leave "Gone with the Wind" alone. It is a great book and no one should try to create any thing more to or for it. If Ms. Mitchell wanted it to have a sequel she would of written one herself.
