Is Nathan's Autographs a reputable company?
My friend had an extra signed Grateful Dead poster certified authentic by Nathan's Autographs. We listed it on eBay and it sold but after the auction was over, the seller contacted me and said that he had found sources on the internet claiming Nathan's Autograph materials to be frauds. I found some forums posts and a blog which alleged investigations by the FBI and Better Business Bureau yet when I searched the BBB, I could find no reports on the company. Getting our own PSA authentication isn't really an option since that costs $150+s/h when the original poster only retails for $200. Can anyone either provide proof of fraud or explain the rumors? Thanks.
I actually did find the report on that company. Although the name search did not yield results, the web address search did. They had 22 complaints, probably not a good sign.
