Seniors, do you keep a dictionary & thesaurus on your desk? What else?

My "desk" is an 8' long wooden farm table....computer is at one end. Next to it is a group of books....my journal, a dictionary, a thesaurus, address book, and my spiral notebook I use to make my "lists". My telephone is at the other end...sitting on phone books. It is in my living room....up against a short wall. 2-drawer file cabinet and shelving is underneath....with an old-timey wooden four-legged stool that has a thousand coats of enamel paint on it.

It is my "command post"....with the good reading lamp, I use the desk all day long.

And I keep a book shelf full of commentaries, expositors, narrated bible, parallel bible, and quite a few other bibles and reference material..

I have one of those large old wood teachers desk that I bought from a second hand store.

My office is on the second floor of my home adjacent to the master bedroom on the front of the house. I can look out and see in all directions.

My house was built in 1900 and is 111 years old. My office has two old style lamps attached to the wall and my desk sits in between. I have a globe lamp on the corner of my desk but don't use it.
I also have an overhead light which I do use.
