Question about the ending of the 1985 movie "Clue"?
SPOILER ALERT: If you haven't seen Clue, but would like to, read no further.
So I recently bought the DVD at movie stop, enjoyed it very much as with any film staring Tim Curry, but am confused about the ending.
Apparently there is the original ending and two alternate endings. If you hit play on the dvd it will play the original movie up until the last five minutes, choosing an ending at random, and the special features have each alternate ending, not indicating which was the original theatrical ending.
So in one scenerio, the killer is the senators wife.
In another it was Mrs. Scarlet
And in the third, each and every guest commited one of the murders, except one, who turned out to be undercover police.
This is driving me crazy, which one was the original "What really happened" ending?
When Clue first was played in theaters, the tagline was "Seven Suspects, Six Weapons, Five Bodies and Three Endings". There was no "original" ending.
