I bought an Original The Sims 3 for me to play with. I successfully installed it in my Macbook (late 2007 edition) and upon game play it was SUPER SLOW. especially when it loads the Sunset Valley. It takes almost 20 minutes to load the map. Then when I want to create a sim. It takes forever for me to customize, and it turns out my sim is black like a shadow. I was so disheartened and disappointed. But I didn't lose hope. I dragged the whole The Sims 3 folder to the trash and deleted it. After, I Installed it again. And the same thing happened all over again. I didnt expect that a Mac would let me down just like that. Is there something wrong with my Video card? (X31) What should I do? Please help me!!!!

ATI X1600 or Nvidia 7300 GT with 128 MB of video RAM or Intel Integrated GMA X3100
Those are the system specs you need. If it doesn't match this or just barely does, turn down some settings under the game. If that doesn't work time to upgrade ( post the specs here if not sure ) You can find the specs by opening ---> Finder--->Applications then click system profiler.
