Fancy dress help needed for Mighty Boosh character!?

I'm seeing the Mighty Boosh live in November and am going in fancy dress as the character Tony Harrison as seen here...

Obviously in the show only his head is visible. However, where would I begin making this? Obviously some pink face paint, but then I need to sort out the lumps on my head and tentacles.

All creative ideas are welcome!

I'd imagine you could try paper maché - perhaps get some cotton wool for the tentacle filling, then cover with the pink paper maché.(available in arts & crafts shops)
For the bald head you could buy a white swim cap, paint it pink, then add some pink playdough for the lumps?
