Eclipse is the most recent movie in the Twilight Saga and it will be a popular party theme for teens and tweens this year. Your fundraising group can take advantage of this and host a great fundraiser for your group. Twilight fans are all around you...if you don't believe me, look at the book sale stats. This Stephenie Meyer book Saga is the hottest selling teen book series we have seen in years. So be smart and host a Twilight fundraiser to make extra money for your group.
A great time to host a Twilight Eclipse party is in the fall...that's right, around Halloween. Have a Twilight costume fundraiser. Everyone loves to get dressed up on Halloween so have two categories. Twilight costumes and Non-Twilight costumes. This way you can attract more than just the Twilight fans in your area. Invite a Vampire as a guest speaker or arrange to have a Scary photo opportunity that will have kids on line waiting to get in. Do you know any Rob Pattinson or Lawrence Taylor look alikes? Kids will enjoy dressing up as their favorite Twilight character. If I were going I would be Alice...I just adore Alice Cullen! But there are so many fans who like Bella Swan and Rosalie Cullen, and even Esme as much as I like Alice. Let's face it some fans even like the evil Victoria or Jane of the Volturi...so you are bound to have quite a variety of costumed guests. Among the guys there is the Edward Cullen or the Jacob Black costume theme. They are the most popular, but all the other characters have a large fan base too, so don't be surprised when you see some Carlisle Cullen, some Billy Blacks or some Sheriff Swan costumes in the crowd. Why not, it's all about fun! Variety is the spice of life.
Invite a Character
See is you have any actors in your own group. When you include characters from this Saga you are going to take this idea from a good to a great fundraiser. You will be amazed at who wants to dress up in a character costume at your fundraiser. Who better to collect the entry tickets that Edward Cullen himself? Ask around and you are sure to get some volunteers. Serve some Twilight themed food ideas. Vampire Cupcakes or cupcakes with Twilight theme edible images on them. These baking supplies are easy to find and inexpensive to use.
