Art Homework? AM Cassandre Poster?
Im halfway through doing this - we have to describe artwork of a Artist of our choice...my teacher gave me this poster to do...The thing is i have no idea what the poster is about - At first i guessed a car, then a railway but then i typed the French into google translator and i didnt make sense...Heres the poster on the link below does anyone know what the poster is actually about?

Chemin de fer - means iron road - so as you guess it's railways (of the north) and is promoting the Northern Star route from Paris to Brussels and Amsterdam. A sleeping car service (wagon-lits) with a restaurant car - 'Pullman' is a superior class of train used on other routes including the Vencie Simplon (Orient express route).
