The recent craze about the new upcoming movie Transformers 2 is picking up. Everyone is talking about the movie and it's characters. The director of the movie, Michael Bay, has beautifully put every character in a very proper place and the attributes of the Transformers reflects the best of their character. There are two fundamental groups of Transformers; the AutoBots and the Decepticons. One is the destroyer and the others are here to save the earth and human lives. Autobots, being on the right track, gain favourable attention from their fans, but there are very strong characters in the Decepticons.

AUTOBOTS
Autobots can be identified as the 'good guys'. They are here on Earth to protect the Earth and its inhabitants. They are here to protect them from the Decepticons.
OPTIMUS PRIME is an Autobot, and it transforms into a Flat nosed cab over a semi-truck. OPTIMUS PRIME is the Autobots' leader.
IRONHIDE is an Autobot and it transforms into a GMC Topkick. IRONHIDE is a weapons specialist.
RATCHET is an Autobot, and it transforms into a Hummer H2. RATCHET is a Medic.
BUMBLEBEE is an Autobot and it turns into a Volkswagen Beetle. BUMBLEBEE is a friend of, and mode of transportation for, Sam Witwicky.
ARCEE is an Autobot and transforms into motorcycle. Arcee is a female Autobot.
SIDESWIPE is an Autobot, and here he transforms into a silver Corvette Stingray concept car.
JETFIRE is an older Decepticon who switches sides. In Transformers 2, he is an Autobot and transforms into SR71 Blackbird jet.
JOLT was originally from the Decepticons, but in the Transporter 2 movie he is on the good side of the Autobots. He transforms into Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid.
SKID & MUDFLAP are Autobot characters. In fact, they are twins. They transform into Chevrolet Beat and Trax concept cars.
DECEPTICONS
Decepticons can be considered as the 'villains'. Their job is to take over the planet. They have very strong combat skills and they have very strong members.
STARSCREAM is a Decepticon, and was Megatron's second in command. He transforms into an F-22 Raptor jet.
SCORPONOK is a Decepticon: Scorponok is the mechanical scorpion that annihilated the whole army in the desert.
THE FALLEN is the original Decpticon. He is the Ultimate bad Decepticon and has the strongest character in the movie.
SIDEWAYS is a Decepticon and transforms into an Audi R8.
SOUNDWAVE is a decepticon. He is assigned the duty of managing the communication satellites, and transforms into a cassette player.
RAVAGE is a cat-like robot.
THE DOCTOR is a form of spider-like crawling robot.
WHEELIE is a little radio-controlled truck.
DEMOLISHER is one of the Constructicons that transforms into construction vehicles.
DEVASTATOR is a giant robot formed by the Constructicons combining together; individually, they are transformed into Scavenger, Scrapper, Hightower, Long Haul, Rampage, Overload, and Mixmaster.
