Pink Floyd:Why does no one under 20 listen to them?
im under 20 but im the only person i know who (of that age) who listens to them
whats your favourite song?
and aside from the obvious reasons isn't it richards death sad(they will definitely not have a reunion know)
ps i have plain white shirt that is signed by everyone who was every in the band (it was signed on more than 1 occasion) i think its value has just rocketed.....(its not for sale)
victor listen to comfortably numb and then watch the wall and then listen to dark side of the moon (its better on vinyl idont know why but the cd lacks .. warmness?) pink floyd are possibly the best way to chill out and relax
already framed it
and who hates the siccors sisters comfortably numb cover a female friend had it on cd and we where driving along she put the cd on after 3 seconds i hit eject and threw it out the window
i have tried to like but it really is bad and i love the orginal (same goes for another brick in the wall pt 2 remix)
Lots of teenagers I know of listen to Pink Floyd. I've enjoyed listening to their music since I was in high school, and I'm 24 now. (I'm sure you'll find fellow teenage Floyd fans you can hang out with at your school, local library, local community center, etc., if you look around for them long enough!)
My favorite PF song is "Fearless." I, too, am saddened by Richard Wright's recent death. Since I watched their reunion show at Live 8 three years ago (which I thought was terrific), I, like you, had been hoping they'd do more reunion shows, and possibly a new album, together. But I guess that just wasn't to be.
I never really got into the Scissor Sisters' version of "Comfortably Numb," either, even though Roger, Dave, and Nick have all been known to praise it. I laughed when I read your account of listening to it in the car! I guess it's a good thing I haven't heard the remix of "Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2" yet!
